My online content creation, articles and more!
Hi,
So, as we all know I am a PR MA student and before that I was studying journalism. Throughout my education, I racked up lots of skills, content and student debt. The first two will be the ones this blog post will showcase (if you do want to help out on the last part I am not turning down a rich millionaire.)
Why is it important to have an online portfolio?
Well, by recording the work you have created you can upload them on a platform or doc which can be viewed by potential employers to back up your creativity and initiative. It can show who you are and your interests visually and your dedication. It does not have to be fancy or eloquent, just a few pages here and there that you can send. My own experience in the industry is that it is quite hard to sometimes gain experience so by pushing yourself at home can be a great way to do that before applying for any opportunities.
Articles
Articles can be shown on request for the privacy of those involved.
My work has covered various topics such as domestic abuse, how North East businesses and care homes were affected during Covid, fandom and culture.

While the Warm Spaces campaign was set up to provide a refuge or those who are struggling with heating bills because of the cost of living crises there is many other activities that can be used by visitors at the venues.
The range of activities include mother and toddler groups, exercise and adult education groups which include photography and arts and crafts.
Coun Linda Williams said: “We not only want the local community to feel warm and safe but to also have an enjoyable experience whether it is from interreacting with other people in a similar situation or learning a new skill or hobby.”
While many of the venues are open throughout the week, their opening and closing times as well as when the Warm Spaces time slot is available varies. To find out more visit the Sunderland City Council website https://www.sunderland.gov.uk/warm-spaces.
